Donation-Based

Every Saturday from 8 am to 9 am

Garden Hoes & Bros Community Garden Meetup

Every Saturday at 9:15 am

Every First and Third Tuesday at Secret Garden you are invited to attend a Community Tea Party. This event is free to the public. Anyone and Everyone is Welcome.  Tea, snacks, and games will be provided, but feel free to bring any delicious fare you wish to share! If you are unsure what to bring to a tea party, may I recommend such wonderful delights as crumpets, crustless sandwiches, or refreshing beverages.

But do not feel obligated to bring anything!!!

Please RSVP via texting Secret Garden at (573) 864-5790

The first half-hour Joel will be teaching a light yoga class to help stretch and wake up your body, followed by a yoga nidra meditation session.

Yoga Nidra loosely translates to yogic sleep. This will be a brief but powerfully relaxing half-hour meditation that will guide you into a deep state of relaxed consciousness as the mind settles in a place between waking and sleep.

In these times of great stress and uncertainty, it is even more important to regularly return the body to a relaxed and peaceful alpha state so that healing can begin. Yoga Nidra has been clinically studied and regular practice has been shown to reduce tension and anxiety!

Please bring your own mat and/or blanket. We do have a couple on hand though in case you forget. This will be an outside event so masks are not required. If it is raining then we will move inside the building.

Come join us in the garden for a relaxing zen practice and do something beautiful for yourself and our community! Namaste and Hugs!

The Garden Hoes and Bros is a work-trade networking group to exchange gardening tips, seeds, and plants to help each other grow! This social group embodies those who love nature and community. Anyone who wants to get out there and plant is invited to join us!

Every Saturday morning at 9:15, after Community Yoga & Meditation, we meet at Secret Garden to discuss gardening. Every meetup we draw to determine which lucky Garden Hoe or Bro will get help in their garden!  If you do not need gardening done maybe you have a friend or relative that could use the help?  We will work around your schedule to help you with your gardening needs.

It doesn't matter if you do not have gardening experience or if you are an expert dirty hoe in the field, you are more than welcome to join us!  Although it's not required, feel free to bring your garden attire. (i.e. hoes, gloves, garden trowels, shears, shovels, any extra gardening tools, extra seeds, extra plants (this could potentially be a seed swap) These things will be provided but I recommend bringing your own.

This is a FREE event! If you are wanting to join us please RSVP by texting Secret Garden at (314) 307-1127
